Comments:
Treadmill running today on a Star Trac 4TR 4 Series Treadmill W/ 10 Inch LCD Console. First time on this model. Relatively new. No touchscreen, but thankfully powered via wall outlet so it stays on. A few other people coming and going while we exercised. Due to the heat wave and because we watched the 2024 United States vice presidential debate, it was dark by the time we started our exercise, so the gym was what we chose. I ran for 50 minutes straight at ~4.0 mph. It...felt like I was running faster than that, but I guess that is not terribly far off from what I run each hour on the street at an easy pace (~5 mph). It was hard to stare at a white curtain. Wish I had brought ear buds. Thinking ahead to my marathon run this Sunday. Today I researched headphones and almost purchased the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 (in orange). However, decided I could get by with my current Skullcandy Sesh Evo In-Ear Wireless Earbuds until black Friday. Even with the marathon, I take breaks every 10 miles or so. And I can even take a small pack along if I need to take the charging case. The treadmill run was boring but an acceptable workout. Can't wait until the heat wave is done. Today I read that today marks the first day where the peak sun angle is less than 45 degrees, which means it no longer can provide enough (waves hands) to produce Vitamin D. Until March. So time to resume daily supplement?
Any
irregular feelings, aches, pains, heart rate, and so forth?: Lower back a bit sore, big toes a bit numb
