Comments: Off day. Lazy Saturday morning. Felt pretty good--lots of rest. Most noticeable is the return of willpower and initiative--e.g., cleaning the cat boxes, taking out recycling--lots of energy to do the tasks and it all feels rather effortless, unlike other days when it feels like more friction, as my body tries to tell me it needs rest. Spent the afternoon getting coffee and early dinner in Mountain View & Palo Alto. Weather is pleasant. Looking into a 10-mile run for Sunday and then I will continue on with a 5-mile run to finish the 15 miles for the day. A bit chilly with the gusting breezes, but pleasant today.
Any irregular feelings, aches, pains, heart rate, and so forth?: Muscles behind right knee slightly sore, but feeling above average--lots of rest
Foods eaten today: Bizzy Cold Brew Organic Espresso Blend (8 oz), Clocktower Coffee Roasting Company - cappuccino & caramel brownie (x0.5) & pizza bagel with cream cheese (x0.5), Nature's Bakery Fig Bar - 2 oz twin pack (Raspberry), Local Union 271 - Palo Alto, CA: Spicy Blackberry (Herradura Tequila | Blackberry | Jalapeno | Lime | Agave) & Black Rye Mule & Bacon & Truffle Deviled Eggs Platter (grilled rustic bread, four deviled eggs, and one of each bacon: 1) Neuske Applewood Triple Thick Cut Bacon; 2) Benton’s Hickory Smoked Country Bacon; and 3) Hobb’s Bacon. Sauce: sriracha aioli) & Truffle Cavatappi Mac & Cheese (gouda | cheddar | panko)
