Comments: 50-minute maintenance run went well today. Ran with Dawn. Remembered the 3 things I should always do: 1) Garmin HRM-Pro Plus Heart Rate Monitor; 2) Anti-chafing; and 3) Sunblock ✅ Weather was warm but not unpleasant. Average pace was spot-on for maintenance runs (target: 12'40"). Cat sightings (~3) and 2 Corgis, plus a few other dogs. Lots of kids & parents out enjoying the late afternoon. Some smells of cooking reminded us of smores--caramelizing sugars. No injuries and ended feeling pretty good. We have a local route that we complete just about in 50 minutes time. Gnat swarms, but not as bad as previous weeks. Lots of cut grass clumps which smelled lovely. It is nice to have company while running.
