Great recap! It was a fun show. I was there with a group from www.sacgeeks.com sitting in the benches under the Tecate tent, so we had a good view. By my clock, it was just a tad little bit late, closer to 8:10 than 8 pm but that's insignificant. Also wanted to point out that the Vader and Stormtroopers are volunteer members of the 501st Central California Garrison, so in other words, they're local boys -- a local Star Wars fan costuming club. We knew they were going on so we were kinda laughing when a bunch a people took off at the "end" of the show during the fireworks before the encore, because we knew it wasn't really over yet. He always does an encore, but some folks don't know that. Anyways, great show, lots of fun.

Hi Stephanie, thanks for posting. You are probably right about the time; I did not have a clock with me but my wife did (her cell phone, heh) and I did not catch the time, just knew it was fairly close to the mark. A couple years ago at the San Joaquin County Fair they were delayed by about 30-40 minutes due to video problems, so 10 minutes is pretty good. Thanks for the excellent insights about the local Garrison, heh. Wishing you all the best.
