Comments: Personal Record 55-minute run of the year 🥇 Have run 5+ miles in 55 minutes on two other occasions: 1) May 17; and 2) September 25. Weather was pleasant. Ran without walk breaks, as I have run maintenance runs recently on the treadmill. Windy conditions: on the way out, I had the wind at my back, and ran a 9'43"/mile. On the way back I faced the headwinds and was also feeling a bit tired. Sunset was at 4:51 p.m. By the time I got home, it was rapidly getting dark. The spasming in my left leg hamstring was slightly disquieting, but manageable.
