Comments: First time recumbent cycling as form of cross-training (XT). The residential gym has two stationary exercise cycles, one upright (several buttons do not work), and the one I used (recumbent, buttons work). It is a Vision Fitness R2750HRT (c. 2009). The heart-rate sensors no longer seem to work reliably (it just blinks "HA", I think? 😅), but everything else seems to work OK. Listened to my audiobook which helped pass the time. Wore a KN95 mask in case anyone else showed up, but it was just me. They have two mounted displays on the wall, but no signal when I turn them on. The dispenser for hand sanitizer was empty. They did have paper towels, which I used to wipe down the equipment afterward. I felt really exercised afterward, even after a 5 minute cooldown. Felt good.
Any
irregular feelings, aches, pains, heart rate, and so forth?: Felt really exercised after; barely any discomfort
