Comments: I've added a new metric to track: Stinkiness air level. Today just slightly. We live in Fremont, near "sewage treatment plants, landfills, garbage dumps, petrochemical plants, and other industrial facilities". Most days not so bad! Other days it is noticeable. Thankfully, indoors never noticeable. Where did all my energy today come from? Felt a bit hungry before the run so had 2 fig bars (1 pack). Had a coffee earlier. Got a decent amount of sleep. I had actually started a shower when I remembered I was supposed to go running. So perhaps the sense of jumping into it without overthinking it. Plus adequate recovery. Also going to start labeling journal entries by "walking" or "running" moving forward. Saw a few cows grazing in the distance on the top of the foothills.
