Thanks for your comments about all the costs associated with your trip to the Shakespeare Festival. Did you happen to like that campground you stayed at? We were thinking of a trip there next year so anything you post would be helpful!

Hi Kevin,
ReplyDeleteGlenyan Campground is about five minutes outside of Ashland, and offers quiet, shared hot showers, wi-fi, a mini-store, and an overwhelming number of blackberry bushes (just becoming ripe during our August trip). There is a small reservoir about one-half mile away which I think *might* have a beach, if interested (Glenyan has a pool, as well). Seems pet-friendly. Rates seem very reasonable, compared to staying in a hotel.
These costs were for my wife and me, purchasing the "cheap seats" and driving up from Sacramento. We primarily ate lunches at the Ashland Food Co-Operative and splurged around town for evening meals, as mood dictated.
