Some songs I heard on Sunday on 94.7's
Soundscapes and another random station:
Miles City, Montana-native George Winston's "Plains" from his 1999 eponymous album "Plains," on the Windham Hill Records label.
Hamburg, Germany-based Max Melvin's "Slowburn" from their 2003 album "Satellite," on the Maxelect Records label.
London, England-native Seal's "Heavenly (Good feeling)" from his 2003 album "Seal IV" on the Sire Records label. Song accompanying video.
St. Louis-native Chuck Berry's "Memphis Tennessee," a 1959 B-side single released with "Back in the USA" on the (presumably) Chess Records label. Video. I enjoyed the lyrics, "...with hurry-home-drops on her cheek...."
