From a walk we took a week or two ago at the California State Capitol World Peace Garden (also):

Trivia: "New rose varieties, approved by the All-American Rose Selections, are showcased in the garden's test section. Visitors have the opportunity to see and smell these new roses before they are available to the general public. The World Peace Rose Garden is one of the few gardens in the U.S. selected for this honor."

I know next to nothing about roses but I'm enjoying learning about them.
