UPDATE:
I decided I did not need another electronic device to maintain. We chose to start with a simple soapstone model we purchased from a local grocery store. Tea light in the bottom, oil and water mix on the top, it lasts for several hours. Heat, so less therapeutic benefits, if you desire that...we just want it to smell nicer.
